Program Summary:
• Deliver a 24-month assistance and early recovery intervention in alignment with the Borno State Government Strategic Transformational Initiatives (2020–2030) and 25-Year Development Framework.
• Support nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions for the prevention, detection, and management of malnutrition.
• Strengthen Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) services, including community nutrition screening, referral and follow-up of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) cases.
• Implement treatment of MAM using the Tom Brown supplementary feeding program.
• Collaborate with other nutrition and health actors to ensure the functionality of Stabilization Centers and related services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support program planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities related to nutrition interventions.
• Provide technical support to field staff and partners in implementing nutrition programs.
• Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and documentation for all program activities.
• Engage with local communities to raise awareness and promote participation in nutrition programs.
• Identify gaps in program delivery and propose corrective measures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years experience in nutrition program implementation, ideally in emergency or humanitarian contexts
• Knowledge of nutrition-specific interventions (CMAM, SAM, MAM)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in rural and high-risk areas
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
