Job Summary:

In partnership with UNICEF, the Global Fund, and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Nina Jojer Limited will support the rehabilitation and strengthening of primary healthcare facilities under the Global Fund PHC Revitalization Project. Local engineers will be engaged at the LGA level to oversee construction, ensure quality standards, and provide timely supervision of contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily visits to assigned PHCs to monitor construction and revitalization activities.

• Ensure work progresses according to approved plans, timelines, and quality standards.

• Identify and report delays, issues, or deviations to the project management team.

• Maintain accurate records of site visits, observations, and progress updates.

• Liaise with contractors and PHC staff to resolve on-site concerns.

• Provide timely feedback and recommendations to improve implementation efficiency.

Deliverables:

• Daily progress reports following provided formats.

• Timely reporting of delays or issues to the project team.

• Actionable feedback to enhance construction quality and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering

• B.Sc. in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the built environment

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in civil engineering construction

• Experience in health facility construction, WASH systems, structural integrity assessment, and community-based projects

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English; knowledge of local languages (Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba) is required

• Strong teamwork, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to travel to rural and semi-urban areas. Furthermore, Jobs at Nina Jojer Limited may require flexibility in travel and scheduling.
