📌 Role Overview

The Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of AMI’s programmes in Nigeria.

You will play a key role in delivering capacity-building training (virtual & in-person), managing stakeholders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring high-quality reporting.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Project Management & Implementation

  • Develop and execute project plans and timelines
  • Manage day-to-day coordination, budgets, and deliverables
  • Track tasks, milestones, and deadlines
  • Serve as point of contact for local partners

🔹 Green Rise Project

  • Act as local Project Manager for the Acumen Green Rise Project
  • Liaise between Nigeria-based stakeholders and global teams
  • Support implementation aligned with local realities

🔹 Event Coordination

  • Organize in-person trainings and programme events
  • Manage logistics, vendors, and venues
  • Ensure smooth participant experience

🔹 Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate with facilitators, partners, and ecosystem actors
  • Maintain professional communication across stakeholders

🔹 M&E Support

  • Support field data collection, spot checks, and reporting
  • Ensure data quality and documentation
  • Liaise with central Monitoring & Evaluation team

🔹 Reporting & Safeguarding

  • Prepare progress reports and documentation
  • Maintain records of activities and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and GESI principles

🎓 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Development Studies, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • At least 3 years working in Nigeria
  • Experience in SME support, entrepreneurship, or skills development programmes
  • Experience with donor-funded projects (e.g., UNDP, GIZ, Mastercard Foundation) is an advantage

🛠️ Required Skills

  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience organizing virtual & in-person programmes
  • Proficiency in tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, Monday.com
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Strong understanding of GESI (Gender Equality & Social Inclusion)
  • Ability to work across cultures and environments
