World Merit Day returns from July 21–24, 2026, bringing together a global community of young leaders for four days of inspiring conversations, practical learning, and cross-cultural collaboration.
This year’s programme has been designed based on community input, ensuring that each session reflects the priorities and interests of young changemakers worldwide. The event will feature expert speakers, interactive sessions, and opportunities to connect with participants from across the globe.
Event Highlights:
- Day 1 – Leadership & Career Development:
The event opens with a keynote on leadership for global impact, followed by insights on transforming passion into a meaningful career, including mentorship perspectives from a World Merit Scholar alum. - Day 2 – Education & Mental Wellbeing:
Participants will explore innovative approaches to education and discuss the importance of prioritizing mental wellbeing in sustainable changemaking. - Day 3 – Workforce, Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability:
Sessions will focus on building future-ready skills and understanding how entrepreneurship and purpose-driven initiatives can drive global change. - Day 4 – Technology, SDGs & Closing Celebration:
The final day will highlight the role of artificial intelligence and technology in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), followed by a closing celebration, community awards, and major announcements.
Each day concludes with a live Community Hour, providing a platform for participants to share experiences, celebrate achievements, network with peers, and build meaningful collaborations across regions.
Registration Details:
Participation is free, and attendees can select specific days or sessions they wish to join. Each day requires a separate registration, and participants will receive individual access links for the sessions they choose. Registration takes only a few minutes.
