The Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative, an indigenous non-profit affiliated with FHI 360, is currently recruiting qualified professionals for various positions in Kaduna State. Since its establishment in 2009, AHNi has been supporting the Nigerian government in implementing impactful public health and development programs, particularly in areas such as immunization, disease control, and health systems strengthening. Notably, Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is recognized for its commitment to community health advancement.

Key Position: LGA Data Officer

The LGA Data Officer will support data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of immunization and project-related activities across facilities and communities. The role involves maintaining accurate databases, conducting data quality checks, supporting DHIS2 reporting, and ensuring consistency between source documents and electronic systems. The officer will also mentor health workers, support supervision visits, and contribute to performance reviews and data-driven planning.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields is required, along with 2–4 years of experience in data management or monitoring and evaluation. Proficiency in DHIS2, Microsoft Excel, and data verification processes is essential.

1. LGA Technical Officer
Responsible for coordinating health interventions at the LGA level and supporting service delivery.
Qualification: Degree in Public Health or related field with experience in immunization or primary healthcare programs.

2. Finance and Grants Officer
Oversees financial management, budgeting, and grant compliance.
Qualification: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with experience in donor-funded projects.

3. State Project Lead
Provides overall leadership and coordination of project implementation at the state level.
Qualification: Advanced degree in Public Health or related field with significant experience in program management.

4. Mobile Outreach Supervisors
Coordinate outreach activities and ensure effective delivery of immunization services in communities.
Qualification: Degree or diploma in health-related field with field experience in outreach programs.

5. M&E Data Quality Coordinator
Ensures data integrity, conducts quality assessments, and supports monitoring systems.
Qualification: Degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field with strong M&E experience.

6. Senior CBO Coordinator
Engages community-based organizations and strengthens community participation.
Qualification: Degree in Social Sciences or Public Health with community engagement experience.

7. Assistant Programme Officer
Supports program implementation, reporting, and coordination activities.
Qualification: Degree in a relevant field with basic experience in project support roles.

General Requirements

Candidates across all roles should demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with donor-funded programs such as GAVI, Global Fund, UNICEF, or WHO is an added advantage. Familiarity with local contexts and languages in Kaduna State will also be beneficial.
