Call for Applications: Qualitative Research Assistants

The Oxygen for Life Initiative (OLI), in collaboration with FHI 360, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Qualitative Research Assistant.

This recruitment is part of an ongoing research project that will be conducted across multiple states in Nigeria.

Project Locations

Selected candidates will be engaged in the following locations:

  • Abuja (FCT)
  • Lagos
  • Kano
  • Rivers
  • Imo
  • Bauchi

The research engagement is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 months.

Role Overview

The Qualitative Research Assistants will support field-based research activities, including data collection, documentation, and analysis using qualitative and mixed-method approaches. They will contribute to generating insights that inform health and development interventions.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 🎓 A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field
  • 📚 A Master’s thesis/dissertation involving qualitative or mixed-methods research
  • 🧠 Demonstrable experience or knowledge in:
    • Qualitative research methods
    • Data collection and analysis
  • 📝 A published article involving qualitative research will be an added advantage
