Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Salary range:1,000,000-1,500,000 Naira

Are you a results-driven business strategist with a passion for retail excellence? We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee the operations of a fast-growing, multi-branch supermarket chain in Abuja.

This position requires a goal-oriented executive with proven expertise in driving profitability, optimizing operations, and delivering outstanding customer experiences across multiple locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple supermarket branches

Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion

Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability across all locations

Lead, mentor, and manage branch managers and operational teams

Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain exceptional customer service standards and strengthen brand reputation

Oversee inventory management, supply chain efficiency, and loss prevention

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in supermarket or retail management, with multi-branch oversight preferred

Proven track record as a business strategist and operational leader

Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management capabilities

Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and performance-driven mindset

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA is an added advantage)
