The Climate-Smart Farming & Rural Resilience Development Foundation (CSFRRDF) is a registered nonprofit organization based in Nigeria, committed to strengthening the resilience of rural African communities through sustainable agriculture, climate action, and digital innovation.
Formerly known as the Climate-Smart Farmer Hubs Initiative (CSFHI), the organization was formally rebranded in late 2025.
We are currently recruiting qualified and motivated candidates to fill the positions below:
POSITION 1: ENUMERATORS
Location: Nationwide
Qualifications
•Diploma / HND / Bachelor’s Degree
•Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage
Experience & Skills
•1–10 years of relevant experience (depending on role)
•Proven experience in rural field operations and donor-funded projects
•Experience managing youth groups and partnerships
•Exposure to agriculture, climate, or humanitarian projects is an advantage
•Strong ability in basic research, data collection, and documentation
•Adaptable, organized, eager to learn, and committed to professional ethics
POSITION 2: FIELD VOLUNTEERS
Location: Nationwide
Qualifications
•Open to undergraduates, recent graduates, and professionals
•Diploma / HND / Bachelor’s Degree required
•Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage
Experience & Skills
•1–10 years of experience depending on assigned role
•Background in community engagement and rural fieldwork
•Experience working with youth groups and local partners
•Interest or exposure to agriculture, climate change, or humanitarian work
•Willingness to learn, flexible, organized, and ethical

About the Role
BHF Agroforestry is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Field Supervisor to oversee our horticultural operations in Abuja. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a deep passion for sustainable agriculture and greenhouse management. The successful candidate will lead field activities to ensure high-quality yields while maintaining optimal environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Crop Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of crops, including the planting, nurturing, and harvesting of vegetables, herbs, and fruits. You will ensure all activities adhere to best horticultural practices to achieve robust and healthy yields.
• Environmental Control: Monitor and regulate greenhouse conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting, to create an optimal growth environment for diverse plant species.
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Routinely analyze crop data to identify potential issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, and develop effective, timely solutions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of planting schedules, growth progress, environmental variables, and harvest outcomes to inform and improve future cultivation cycles.
• Sales & Market Coordination: Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align production schedules with market demand, ensuring the consistent availability of produce for distribution channels and visitors.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in horticulture management or a closely related field.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of crop science and greenhouse technology.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret agricultural data and implement corrective measures.
• Operational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on detailed documentation and reporting.
• Work Ethic: A result-oriented mindset with the ability to lead field teams effectively.
