ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Seed Pro Africa is onboarding agro-dealers across 30 Local Government Areas of Kano State, excluding the metropolitan LGAs.

The initiative is designed to expand access to quality seeds and agricultural inputs while creating opportunities for women and young people to grow their businesses, generate income, and contribute to improved agricultural productivity and food security in their communities.

WHO CAN APPLY

This opportunity is open to:

1. Women interested in agriculture and entrepreneurship.
2. Young people passionate about agriculture, business development, and community impact.
3. Individuals interested in becoming part of a growing network of agro-dealers in Kano State.
4. Applicants with experience selling agricultural inputs will have an added advantage.

WHAT SELECTED AGRO-DEALERS WILL RECEIVE

1. A dedicated kiosk established by Seed Pro Africa for selected dealers within their Local Government Area.
2. Access to quality seeds and agricultural inputs.
3. Training to strengthen agro-dealer and business management capacity.
4. Ongoing technical and business support.
5. An opportunity to grow an agro-input business and increase income.
6. The opportunity to become part of a growing agricultural network.
7. Support to build a sustainable agricultural enterprise serving farmers within the community.

AREA COVERAGE

The onboarding exercise will cover 30 LGAs across Kano State, excluding the metropolitan Local Government Areas.

Selected agro-dealers will help make quality seeds and agricultural inputs more accessible to farmers within their communities.

IDEAL APPLICANTS

The opportunity is suitable for women and young people who are passionate about agriculture, entrepreneurship, community development, and improving farmers’ access to quality agricultural inputs.

Previous experience in selling seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, or other agricultural inputs is an advantage but is not stated as mandatory.
