Overview of CPPLI
Child Protection and Peer Learning Initiative (CPPLI) is a human-centered social development not-for-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian National Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) that was established and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in June 2010 with the sole aim of ensuring that less privilege and vulnerable children (particularly girls) and women as well as populations affected by humanitarian emergencies have access and attain a quality life and education through building sustainable partnership with government agencies, UN-agencies, communities, individuals and other stakeholders in obtaining mechanisms and resources to achieve its aim and focus. Being a national and local organization, CPPLI is geographically operating in the Northeast Nigeria with tremendous technical expertise of working in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe (BAY) states due to its well understanding of the cultural dynamics and change in context of the communities in the BAY states.

CPPLI stand against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
CPPLI has a zero-tolerance policy with regard to SEA by her personnel. All forms of sexual exploitation and abuse are incompatible with the universally accepted norms, values, principles and standards that underpin CPPLI. Protection from SEA is the responsibility of everyone and all selected candidates will be required to comply with the CPPLI’s PSEA Policy at all times. Selected candidates will therefore undergo rigorous reference and background checks against their past behavior related to sexual exploitation and abuse, and may be required to provide additional information further on in the selection process

Objectives
The objective of this recruitment is to engage qualified candidates with relevant experience and knowledge in provision of quality case management and psychosocial support services thereby reinforcing the human resource to provide better result and outcomes.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
– Minimum of a University Degree, HND, ND, OND or NCE in related field.
– Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
– Excellent ability in computer skills especially Microsoft applications.
– Good understanding of CPIMS+ Primero application
– Having strong understanding of child protection in emergency (CPiE) programming.
– Strong analytical skills.
– Excellent English language writing and speaking skills.
– Fluency in Local Language is mandatory.
– Ability to work collaboratively with others colleagues
– Ability to organize ideas in a logical and structured manner.

1- Protection officer

PURPOSE
A Protection Officer implements, monitors, and evaluates gender-based violence prevention and response activities, focusing on survivor-centered case management, risk mitigation, and community sensitization. They manage referrals to health, legal, and psychosocial services, conduct safety assessments, and build capacity among community members to promote safe, supportive environments.

Key Responsibilities
– He/she provide confidential, survivor-centered case management, including assessment, planning, referral, and follow-up for GBV survivors. This includes providing psychological first aid and navigating referrals for legal or health services.
– He/she implement, monitor, and evaluate GBV prevention activities, such as community dialogues, awareness campaigns, and training to reduce risks.
– He/she Conduct outreach, sensitize community members, and engage local leaders to promote safe environments and positive gender norms.
– He/She coordinate with other humanitarian actors and stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways. Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records of cases and activities for reporting.
– He/she offer training on GBV, child protection, and psychosocial support to staff, volunteers, and community members.
– He/she adhere strictly to confidentiality, safety, and ethical standards, including Protection Mainstreaming principles and organizational policies.

2. Case Management assistant

Objectives
The primary objective of recruiting a Case Management Assistant (CMA) is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity of a case management team by providing critical administrative, technical, and client-centered support. They serve as an extension of the case manager, enabling them to focus on high-level strategy and complex clinical or legal decisions while the assistant handles logistics, documentation, and routine follow-ups.

PURPOSE
A Case Management Assistant in an NGO provides direct support to vulnerable individuals (such as children or GBV survivors) by conducting needs assessments, developing action plans, facilitating referrals to services, and maintaining confidential documentation. They ensure timely, ethical, and high-quality assistance in line with organization SOPs and humanitarian principles.

Key Responsibilities
· He/she conduct initial assessments of client needs, develop case plans, and provide follow-up support to survivors of violence, abuse, or neglect.
· He/she maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client files/case notes, ensuring secure storage and digital entry into Case Management Information Systems (e.g., CPIMS).
· He/she map local service providers (legal, medical, shelter), facilitate safe referrals, and follow up to ensure beneficiaries receive needed services.
· He/she provide basic counseling and, in some roles, facilitate group support sessions or activities at safe spaces.
· He/she assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports on case trends and progress for management.
· Adhere strictly to child protection policies, “do no harm” principles, and confidentiality.

3. Information Management Assistant

Objectives
The primary objective of recruiting an Information Management Assistant (IMA) is to ensure the collection, storage, organization, maintenance, and utilization of data is handled efficiently and accurately to support, monitor, and evaluate projects. They act as a critical link between field operations and management, ensuring high-quality, actionable information is available for timely decision-making.

PURPOSE
An Information Management (IM) Assistant ensures the effective collection, storage, analysis, and dissemination of project data to support decision-making and reporting. Key responsibilities include maintaining databases, conducting data quality checks, managing beneficiary records, assisting in survey design, and generating, data-driven reports for donors and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
· He/she should have experience on reporting hub for 5WS
. He/she Input field data into Information Management Systems (IMS) and maintaining accurate database systems.
· He/she is responsible in cleaning and validating data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency before analysis.
· He/she should map project activities and assistance coverage, often using GIS tools, to visualize program impact.
· He/she compiling data for internal reports, donor proposals, and stakeholder updates.
· He/she develop dashboards, charts, and infographics to represent data effectively.
· He/she support the design and implementation of mobile data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox).
· He/she ensure quality benchmark data is up to date and monitoring program implementation.
· He/she manages digital and paper-based archives (ARMS) and registering incoming/outgoing records.
· He/she facilitating data sharing with partners, field staff, and government authorities.
· He/She providing training to staff on data collection tools and information systems.
· He/she ensures data protection protocols are followed, particularly regarding sensitive beneficiary. information.
· He/she adhere to child safeguarding and protection policies in all data handling

4. Protection Assistant

Objectives
The primary objective of recruiting a Protection Assistant is to provide functional, administrative, and technical support to a protection unit to ensure that the rights, safety, and dignity of vulnerable individuals—such as refugees, asylum-seekers, and internally displaced persons (IDPs)—are upheld. They act as a critical link between the organization and the community, facilitating access to services and conducting case management

PURPOSE
A Protection Assistant (GBV) on a project provides confidential, survivor-centered case management, psychosocial support, and referrals for GBV survivors while facilitating community-based prevention activities. They ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintain accurate data in systems like GBVIMS/ProGres, and map local services to ensure timely, high-quality assistance.

Key Responsibilities and Roles
• Support the planning and facilitation of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with various population groups to identify protection needs, risks, and priorities.
• Engage women, girls, and adolescents through participatory approaches (e.g., FGDs) to inform programming decisions, including preferences for dignity kits and other assistance.
• Supervise and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the Women Protection Team (WPT) to strengthen community-based protection interventions.
• Actively participate in local coordination meetings with partners, community leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring effective information sharing and collaboration.
• Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to develop, adapt, and implement protection tools such as safety audits.
• Train and supervise enumerators on safety audit methodologies and ensure proper data collection within communities.
• Monitor and oversee the implementation of protection infrastructure (e.g., solar lighting installations) and document impact through success stories and field reports.
• Compile reports from community-based structures such as Male and Boys Support Action Groups (MBSAG), highlighting key challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
• Support the safe and inclusive distribution of assistance, ensuring that all population groups are reached with dignity and without discrimination.
• Serve as a Protection Desk Officer at the community level, providing guidance, referrals, and information on available services.
• Support capacity-building initiatives for community structures, including Women Protection Teams (WPT) and MBSAG members.
• Collaborate with caseworkers to document success stories related to case management and assistance provided to beneficiaries such cash support and solar poles installed in the community.
• Collect, analyze, and report feedback from community-based groups (WPT, MBSAG, CBPCs), ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly by the project team.
• Support the implementation of protection risk mitigation activities across all program sectors.
• Supervise and monitor the activities of MBSAG to ensure alignment with protection objectives.
• Monitor Gender-Based Violence (GBV) risk mitigation interventions across field locations and report gaps for timely action.

5- Security and Admin Assistant

Objectives.
The primary objective of recruiting a Security and Admin Assistant is to ensure the smooth daily operation of the office while simultaneously maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment for personnel, assets, and visitors. This dual-role position acts as a central hub, combining administrative efficiency with proactive safety management.

PURPOSE
A Security and Admin Assistant support organizational operations by combining clerical duties with security protocol management, including visitor screening, access control, surveillance monitoring, records management, and office logistics. They serve as a vital link between security, management, and visitors, ensuring both a secure and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
· He/she manage front desk reception, answer phones, handle correspondence, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars for staff.
· He/she maintain security logs, incident reports, and database records. They also handle confidential files, including personnel or legal documents.
· He/she monitor office equipment for repairs, manage supplies, and coordinate courier services.
· He/she monitor security cameras (CCTV), manage access badges, maintain visitor logs, and conduct security patrols if needed. They assist with implementing security procedures and responding to incidents.
· He/she assist with safety training, inspect facilities for hazards, and help implement risk prevention programs.
· He/she coordinate security briefings, assist with onboarding new staff regarding security protocols, and support staff travel arrangements.
· He/She assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction of staff and volunteers regarding child safeguarding policies.
· He/She organize logistics for training sessions, meetings, and community awareness campaigns, including room bookings and materials preparation
· He/she coordinate security briefings, assist with onboarding new staff regarding security protocols, and support staff travel arrangements.
