The Nurse (ITFC & IPD) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Inpatient Therapeutic Feeding Centre (ITFC) and Inpatient Department (IPD). The role involves supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients—particularly children suffering from severe acute malnutrition and other medical conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
Key responsibilities include administering medications and therapeutic feeds, monitoring vital signs, maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring infection prevention and control practices, and providing health education to patients and caregivers. The nurse will also play a vital role in supporting emergency response activities and ensuring proper patient follow-up and referrals when necessary.
The ideal candidate should possess relevant nursing qualifications, valid professional certification, and prior experience in hospital or humanitarian settings. Strong teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.
