Role Purpose
The Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) are critical units responsible for coordinating responses to emergencies. The Associate, IT/Admin, will provide administrative and technical support to ensure the EOC operates efficiently, supporting communication, collaboration, and emergency preparedness aligned with eHealth Africa’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including managing schedules, logistics, and participant communications.
- Create, edit, and disseminate documents, reports, correspondence, and emails professionally and accurately.
- Assign daily tasks and oversee the maintenance of electronic and physical filing systems.
- Troubleshoot computer software/hardware faults, network issues, telephones, and security systems.
- Facilitate internal and external communications, ensuring timely and effective interactions with stakeholders.
- Monitor and report administrative workflow irregularities.
- Support data management and ensure accurate record-keeping aligned with organizational standards.
- Adhere to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and integrate data from multiple sources for administrative functions.
- Adapt to digital tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management, or related field.
- 1–2 years of technical administrative support experience, preferably in an international NGO.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and other administrative software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Hausa is an advantage.
- Only candidates residing in Sokoto and indigenous to the area will be shortlisted.
