Position: Analyst, Program Management

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-time

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Public Health, Social Sciences, Management or related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management and health-related programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily programme operations and coordination.

Review work plans, budgets, deliverables and programme performance.

Develop quarterly technical assistance mobilisation plans and technical briefs.

Review programme training plans and ensure proper documentation of training activities.

Support recruitment and management of consultants and programme staff.

Coordinate annual work plans, programme reviews, meetings and retreats.

Support communications, stakeholder engagement and media relations.

Monitor programme expenditure and burn rate.

Provide coaching and capacity building to programme staff.

Support effective coordination across TAConnect work streams.

Travel: Up to 50% within Nigeria.

Project: Strengthening Nigeria’s Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Community of Practice, Registry and National Learning Platform

Position: Program Analyst

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-time, fixed-term

Duration: With possibility of renewal based on performance and project funding.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, Statistics or related field.

Master’s degree: Added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 9 years of progressively responsible experience in health programme implementation, project management, research, monitoring and evaluation, or health systems strengthening.

Key Responsibilities:

Support programme planning and coordination.

Track programme milestones, deliverables and implementation timelines.

Coordinate meetings, workshops, webinars and Community of Practice activities.

Support engagement with Ministries of Health, academic institutions, development partners and professional associations.

Prepare agendas, presentations, minutes and action trackers.

Support knowledge management and documentation of lessons learned.

Develop policy briefs, learning briefs, technical summaries, newsletters and success stories.

Support programme monitoring, reporting and performance tracking.

Maintain dashboards and performance scorecards.

Analyse programme and registry data and generate insights.

Support evidence synthesis, research and policy recommendations.

Develop communication and advocacy materials.

Support grant, consultant and partner deliverable tracking.

Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans.

Support technical guidelines, concept notes, funding proposals and publications.
