Helium Health is currently recruiting for the following positions in Kano State.

1. GROWTH ASSOCIATE

LOCATION: Kano State, Nigeria

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

JOB SUMMARY

The Growth Associate will support Helium Health’s sales and expansion strategy across the private and public sectors in Kano State, using the company’s suite of Healthtech products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive sales and business development activities to achieve revenue targets.
2. Develop new business leads through prospecting and cold calling.
3. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
4. Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and decision-makers.
5. Understand Helium Health’s products and effectively communicate their value to clients.
6. Support territory planning, pipeline development and customer engagement strategies.
7. Monitor sales activities, campaigns and outcomes using relevant platforms and tools.
8. Support onboarding, training and development of growth team members.
9. Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information.
10. Work with Customer Success and other teams to ensure smooth transition of converted customers.
11. Resolve customer concerns and support a positive customer experience.
12. Use effective sales and negotiation strategies to close deals.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience with a record of exceeding growth targets.
2. Experience in telesales and enterprise software sales.
3. Healthcare enterprise sales experience is an advantage.
4. Strong prospecting, relationship-building and partnership skills.
5. Result-driven, resilient and commercially minded.
6. Strong communication, presentation, listening and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively and travel to meet customers across Kano State.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Public Relations, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
10. Understanding of Healthtech and technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
11. Strong business and financial acumen.
12. MUST BE RESIDENT IN KANO STATE.

2. PUBLIC HEALTH IMPLEMENTATION OFFICER

LOCATION: Kano State, Nigeria

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

JOB SUMMARY

Helium Health is implementing a multi-state maternal health programme designed to improve women’s access to timely maternal health information, risk assessment and appropriate care through WhatsApp and HeliumDoc, supported by an Antenatal Risk Stratification tool.

The Public Health Implementation Officer will coordinate programme implementation across Kano State, working with healthcare facilities, community health workers, government stakeholders and other partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate programme implementation according to approved workplans, timelines, targets and quality standards.
2. Coordinate activities across healthcare facilities, communities, CHWs and field partners.
3. Monitor implementation milestones and escalate delays, risks and operational challenges.
4. Coordinate sensitisation, training, recruitment drives, facility engagement and stakeholder meetings.
5. Implement user recruitment and activation strategies across participating facilities and communities.
6. Supervise CHWs and other field personnel and monitor performance against targets.
7. Build and maintain relationships with participating healthcare facilities.
8. Engage with the State Ministry of Health, community stakeholders and implementation partners.
9. Coordinate training and capacity-building activities for CHWs and healthcare personnel.
10. Monitor programme indicators, recruitment targets and facility participation.
11. Review field data for completeness, accuracy and consistency.
12. Prepare weekly and monthly implementation reports.
13. Coordinate logistics for field activities, training, facility visits and stakeholder engagements.
14. Ensure compliance with programme protocols, data protection, safeguarding and ethical requirements.
15. Document implementation challenges, lessons learned, beneficiary feedback and success stories.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Community Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in public health programme implementation, community health, field operations, healthcare delivery or a related area.
3. Experience coordinating field-based health programmes.
4. Experience working with healthcare facilities, CHWs, government stakeholders or community-based organisations.
5. Experience supervising or coordinating field teams and managing performance targets.
6. Strong understanding of community engagement and health programme implementation.
7. Experience in maternal and reproductive health programmes is an advantage.
8. Digital health or technology-enabled healthcare experience is an advantage.
9. Strong reporting, documentation, data-quality and basic analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
12. Willingness to travel regularly within Kano State.
13. Fluency in English and proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
14. MUST BE RESIDENT IN KANO STATE.
