APADE, in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Mastercard Foundation, is implementing a project in Northeast Nigeria (Adamawa State) aimed at:

  • Strengthening local food systems
  • Creating employment opportunities for youth
  • Promoting inclusive agribusiness value chains
  • Enhancing financial inclusion and economic empowerment

Position 1: Safety and Security Assistant

Job Summary

The Safety and Security Assistant will support the implementation and monitoring of safety and security policies to ensure the protection of staff, assets, and operations in line with organizational and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support enforcement of safety and security procedures
  • Monitor security situations and provide timely updates
  • Assist in risk assessments and incident reporting
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Support staff safety awareness and training initiatives

Position 2: Finance Assistant

Job Summary

The Finance Assistant will support daily financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with policies, and effective financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record financial transactions
  • Manage cash and bank activities

  • Support financial reporting and audits
  • Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies
