ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Coordinator will provide day-to-day coordination support for the CIFF Challenge Fund mCPR Project, a multi-state family planning programme designed to increase access to and uptake of high-quality modern contraceptive services.
The role will coordinate state teams and cross-functional functions, track implementation, support performance monitoring and reporting, follow up on budgets, procurement and commodities, and ensure risks and action points are addressed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain project workplans, activity trackers, state implementation trackers, milestones, deliverables and timelines.
Track progress against targets, identify delays and escalate implementation risks to the Project Lead.
Coordinate state-level activities including facility assessments, trainings, supportive supervision, service delivery, advocacy engagements, community activities and project review meetings.
Follow up action points from management meetings, donor meetings, technical working groups and field visits.
Collect, consolidate and quality-check monthly and quarterly performance submissions.
Maintain performance summaries covering FP acceptors, CYP, mCPR contribution, method mix, adolescent client share, service availability and facility coverage.
Support routine reports, donor narrative reports, meeting briefs, presentations and performance summaries.
Organise project review meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action trackers.
Support donor field visits, stakeholder engagements, technical working groups and State Ministry of Health meetings.
Track expenditure against budgets and flag underspending, overspending and phasing risks.
Follow up procurement, payment documentation, vendor engagements, travel, per diem and logistics processes.
Coordinate with Supply Chain teams on commodity availability, stock status, redistribution and replenishment.
Maintain risk, issue, action and decision registers.
Document project processes, lessons learned, implementation challenges and success stories.
Support compliance with safeguarding, data protection, client confidentiality and donor requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Degree or advanced degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management or a related field.
3 to 6 years of progressive experience in programme or project coordination, preferably within sexual and reproductive health, public health or development programming.
Experience coordinating donor-funded projects across multiple states or geographical locations.
Good understanding of family planning, modern contraceptive methods and integrated sexual and reproductive health services.
Experience in project planning, implementation, target setting, monitoring, budgeting and donor reporting.
Ability to compile, analyse and interpret programme data.
Experience working with government stakeholders, implementing partners and cross-functional teams.
Experience collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, M&E, MIS and technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to achieve financial and non-financial targets.

There is no relocation allowance available for this position.
