GHIV Africa is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian and developmental organization established in 2014. The organization delivers assistance and protection to affected populations before, during, and after crisis situations. GHIV Africa is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the following positions based in Borno, Nigeria.

1. Administrative Assistant

Experience: 2–3 years

Role Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to daily operations by managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, assisting with project logistics, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff, including flight bookings.
  • Organize training, workshops, and meetings; manage office maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Take weekly staff meeting minutes and submit on time.
  • Maintain secure filing systems and manage MOUs and asset registers.
  • Monitor and control office expenses and budget.
  • Supervise office cleaners and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Proven administrative experience in non-profit or humanitarian settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

2. Store Keeper

Experience: 2–3 years

Role Overview:

The Store Keeper will manage inventory, ensuring efficient storage, tracking, and distribution of supplies and materials essential for program implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain warehouse security and stock management.
  • Update stock records and ensure proper item storage using “first-in, first-out” principles.
  • Perform physical stock counts and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure safety and prevent damage, theft, or deterioration of items.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse or inventory management, ideally in humanitarian or nonprofit contexts.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
