Chabash Development and Health Initiative (CDHI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of underserved populations through integrated health, nutrition, and sustainable development programs. As we expand our intervention footprint across Nigeria, we are looking for dedicated, passionate, and highly skilled professionals to join our team in delivering life-saving support and long-term economic resilience.
We are currently recruiting for multiple positions within our Food Security and Livelihood (FSL)department. These roles are designed for individuals who are committed to humanitarian principles and have a strong desire to address the root causes of hunger and poverty in our communities.
Open Positions
1. Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Manager
The FSL Manager will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for all food security and livelihood interventions. This role involves project design, budget management, and ensuring that all programs are implemented according to international standards and donor requirements.
•   Key Focus: Strategic planning, partnership management, and high-level reporting.
2. Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Assistant
Supporting the implementation of field activities, the FSL Assistant works directly with community stakeholders. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who enjoys grassroots engagement and assisting in the distribution of agricultural inputs or livelihood support.
•   Key Focus: Field implementation, data collection, and community mobilization.
3. Livelihood Officer
The Livelihood Officer is responsible for developing and supervising sustainable income-generating activities. You will work to empower beneficiaries through vocational training, small business support, and market linkage strategies to ensure long-term self-sufficiency.
•   Key Focus: Training, economic empowerment, and market analysis.
####Â 4. Cash and Voucher Officer
Specializing in Cash-Based Assistance (CBA), the Cash and Voucher Officer will manage the end-to-end process of cash and voucher distributions. This includes beneficiary registration, vendor management, and ensuring the integrity of the distribution process.
•   Key Focus: Accountability, financial tracking, and distribution logistics.
General Requirements
•   Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agriculture, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
•   Experience: Proven experience in humanitarian or developmental work, specifically within the FSL sector. (Managerial roles require at least 5 years, while officer and assistant roles require 1–3 years).
•   Location: Nationwide (Candidates must be willing to be deployed to various states based on project needs).
•   Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills (English and local languages), and proficiency in using digital data collection tools.
•   Ethics: A strong commitment to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, and a “do-no-harm” approach.
