🎯

Job Purpose

The Medical Doctor will provide quality outpatient and inpatient medical care in line with INTERSOS protocols, ensuring improved health outcomes for patients while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

🧾

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses using standard medical protocols
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and ensure patient understanding
• Manage and monitor the use of medicines and medical supplies
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and hygiene standards
• Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data
• Supervise and support medical and paramedical teams
• Organize staff schedules, shifts, and performance monitoring
• Provide continuous training to healthcare staff
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with program, logistics, and HR teams

🎓

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent)

💼

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
• Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, or Minor Surgery is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure humanitarian settings
• Good teamwork and leadership abilities
• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
