Job Purpose

Ignite is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Team Lead (Customer Finance) to oversee credit recovery operations, manage stakeholders, and lead field teams in delivering strong financial and customer performance.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about renewable energy, financial inclusion, and customer engagement in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

📊 Performance & Recovery Management

• Achieve targets on recoveries, reactivations, and repossessions
• Maintain acceptable write-off thresholds
• Develop scalable credit recovery processes
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and training

👥 Recruitment & Training

• Recruit and manage collection agents
• Deliver credit and recovery training across regions
• Analyze credit data and implement improvement strategies

⚖️ Credit Compliance & Risk Management

• Implement and monitor credit management tools
• Conduct field compliance checks and credit assessments
• Support high-value credit decision-making

🤝 Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
• Lead recovery meetings and campaigns
• Improve customer payment channels and experience

🎓

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc in a relevant field

💼

Experience

• 2–4 years in renewable energy or related sector (preferred)
• 2–3 years in loan recovery or credit management (advantage)
• Experience managing teams in rural or dispersed environments

🧠

Skills & Competencies

• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, or data tools
• Attention to detail and performance-driven mindset
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams

Language Requirement

• Proficiency in English
