Role Objective
The Medical Doctor will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care in line with MSF protocols and universal hygiene standards. The role focuses on improving patient health outcomes through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and continuous monitoring within a humanitarian emergency context.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical consultations across units such as triage, IPD, isolation, HDU, and ITFC
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor patients using MSF-approved protocols
- Prescribe medications, including rational use of antibiotics in line with antimicrobial stewardship guidelines
- Monitor patient progress through daily clinical reviews and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Ensure proper use, storage, and accountability of medical supplies and equipment
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control (IPC) standards
- Accurately complete medical records, reports, and documentation
- Participate in epidemiological data collection and reporting
- Support training and supervision of medical and paramedical staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, laboratory, nutrition, and mental health units
- Provide clear communication and psychological support to patients and caregivers

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent)
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Experience in pediatrics, tropical medicine, public health, or nutrition programs is an added advantage
- Fluency in English and Hausa language is essential
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet)
