About the Position
Taimaka is inviting applications for the position of Finance Program Officer in Gombe State.
The successful candidate will support routine financial operations, ensure accurate financial records, process payments, assist with payroll and reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payments and support payroll administration.
- Verify expenses and review financial documentation.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.
- Follow up on outstanding financial transactions and discrepancies.
- Support compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field.
- Prior accounting training is not required.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in spreadsheets.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Confidence in following up on financial records and discrepancies.
Additional Advantage: Experience in payroll administration, expense verification or Nigerian tax regulations.
