 Role Overview

Greenville LNG is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Self-Loader Operators to join its logistics team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating self-loading trucks to transport machinery, equipment, and construction materials safely and efficiently between designated job sites in Port Harcourt and Kaduna.

 Key Responsibilities

•  Equipment Operation: Operate self-loading trucks and hydraulic lifting systems to load and unload materials safely.

•  Transportation & Security: Transport machinery and construction materials between sites, ensuring all loads are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

•  Maintenance & Inspection: Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Conduct minor routine maintenance (checking fluids, brakes, and tires) and report major repair needs to the maintenance team.

•  Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and site-specific safety protocols.

•  Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of cargo, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance activities.

•  Coordination: Communicate effectively with site managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

 Qualifications and Requirements

•  Education: Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).

•  Experience: Proven experience as a Self-Loader Operator or in a similar heavy vehicle operation role.

•  Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license of the appropriate class with a clean driving record.

•  Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of load charts, hydraulic lifting systems, and vehicle safety procedures.

•  Physical Fitness: Ability to handle and lift heavy objects safely as required by the role.

•  Soft Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

•  Detail-Oriented: A sharp focus on safety, efficiency, and operational accuracy.
