The Midwife will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn healthcare services, ensuring safe pregnancy, delivery, and postnatal care in line with international and organizational standards. The role involves working closely with doctors and health teams to prevent complications and improve outcomes for both mothers and infants.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver antenatal, postnatal, and safe delivery services
- Provide Basic and Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC & CEmONC)
- Support family planning and healthy birth spacing
- Manage STIs and reproductive health services
- Offer clinical care for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV)
- Conduct skilled deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies
- Ensure infection prevention, hygiene, and sterilization standards
- Maintain adequate medical supplies and equipment
- Provide breastfeeding support and maternal health education
- Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting
- Strengthen referral systems between communities and health facilities
- Support integrated care for malnourished infants and mothers

Qualifications & Requirements
- General Nursing and Midwifery Certificate
- Valid license from Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a midwife (preferably in low-resource settings)
- Fluency in English and local languages
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet)
