Call for Consultancy: GIS Mapping Expert (Bauchi)
Are you a skilled GIS professional based in Bauchi with a passion for using data to drive meaningful change? Bridge Connect Africa Initiative (BCAI), in partnership with WaterAid, is seeking a qualified Consultant or Firm to support a high-impact geospatial mapping project.
This consultancy focuses on developing detailed, data-driven GIS maps that clearly illustrate sanitation status, community classifications, institutional presence, and administrative boundaries across three selected Local Government Areas (LGAs). The outputs will play a critical role in strengthening evidence-based advocacy, improving program targeting, and supporting effective decision-making for ongoing interventions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in GIS tools, data visualization, and spatial analysis, with proven experience delivering similar projects. Familiarity with WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programming or development-sector mapping will be considered an added advantage.
Location: Bauchi State
Scope of Work Includes:
- Producing high-quality geospatial maps and datasets
- Visualizing sanitation indicators and service coverage
- Mapping key institutions and infrastructure
- Supporting data interpretation for advocacy and reporting
