State Clinical Mentors at an Indigenous Non-profit and Non-governmental Organization
About the Organization
This is an indigenous non-profit and non-governmental organization with a head office in Abuja and field offices across Nigeria. The organization focuses on saving lives and improving the quality of life for Nigerians, especially people living with or affected by HIV. It is guided by core values including commitment, innovation, inspiring leadership, and partnerships. In addition, the organization regularly posts NGO Jobs vacancies for qualified candidates.
Project Background
The IMPAACT4HIV project is a three and a half year grant led by the Aurum Institute across six countries including South Africa, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria. The project aims to strengthen sustainable, evidence-based interventions for improved outcomes in advanced HIV disease.
As the consortium lead in Nigeria, the organization launched implementation of the IMPAACT4HIV Project in 2024, providing technical assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health to adopt and implement the World Health Organization’s STOP AIDS package of care. The pilot is currently running across 21 facilities in Gombe, Kano, Lagos, and Rivers states.
The project supports capacity building of national and facility-level healthcare workers to improve access to quality pediatric advanced HIV disease care and treatment packages for children and adolescents in Nigeria. These efforts create new NGO Jobs vacancies in health and programme management.
