Resident Internal Control Officers (Nationwide) – Tier-1 Commercial Bank

A leading Tier-1 commercial bank in Nigeria is currently accepting applications for Resident Internal Control Officers across multiple nationwide locations. This role is ideal for banking professionals with strong experience in branch internal control, internal audit, compliance, operational risk, KYC/AML, and banking operations oversight.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a numerate field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines).

ACA / ICAN certification is a strong added advantage.

Grade level: ET – SBO.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in branch internal control within a commercial bank.

Strong understanding of:

Audit procedures & branch control frameworks

Regulatory compliance (CBN guidelines, KYC/AML)

Operational risk management

Vault, cash, and reconciliation controls

Exception reporting and resolution

Policy enforcement and branch process reviews

Excellent attention to detail, ethical judgement, report writing, and stakeholder management.
