Role Overview

The LGA Supervisor will oversee the implementation of the MCHTrack Digital Engagement Tool – Immunization Zero-Dose Innovation Project at the local government level.

The role involves supervising Community Resource Groups (CRGs), Routine Immunization (RI) Providers, and coordinating project activities while ensuring quality delivery, stakeholder engagement, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise CRGs and RI Providers across Malammadori LGA
  • Conduct routine supportive supervision visits to communities and health facilities
  • Monitor usage and data quality of the MCHTrack application
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to field teams
  • Coordinate with PHC officials and LGA stakeholders
  • Represent Datharm at LERICC and other coordination meetings
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
  • Escalate operational challenges when necessary
  • Support trainings and monitoring activities

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in:
    • Public Health
    • Community Health
    • Nursing
    • Environmental Health
    • Epidemiology
    • Statistics
    • Social Sciences or related field
  • Higher qualifications are an added advantage

Residency

  • Must reside in Malammadori LGA or have strong knowledge of the area
  • Willing to work within local communities

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in primary healthcare programme management
  • Experience with routine immunization and supportive supervision
  • Experience working with government and development partners
  • Prior supervision of community health structures (e.g., CHIPS Agents, VCMs) is an advantage

Digital Skills

  • Proficiency in:
    • Android devices and mobile apps
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Forms)
    • Email and WhatsApp communication

Communication Skills

  • Fluent in English and Hausa
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and represent the organization professionally

Availability

  • Ready for immediate deployment
  • Willing to travel across communities within the LGA

Preferred Candidates

Preference will be given to applicants who:

  • Have strong relationships with local health stakeholders
