About the Programme
The Leadership Accelerator Programme is a capacity-building initiative designed to address gender disparity in women’s leadership across the African continent. It is specifically tailored for high-potential young African women in corporate settings and aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to ascend to leadership positions.
The LEAP Leadership Accelerator Programme focuses on cultivating leadership capacity, fostering strong professional networks, and providing mentorship from experienced and inspiring industry leaders. The programme supports young African women who are passionate about making a difference and committed to personal and professional growth.

Applications are now open for the 2026 LEAP Africa Leadership Accelerator Programme.
The programme is an annual initiative aimed at empowering and enhancing the leadership skills of high-potential young African women to attain corporate leadership roles.
Programme Structure
- Three weeks of virtual learning
- One week physical boot camp
- Six months of intensive mentorship
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2026 LEAP Leadership Accelerator Programme, applicants must be young African women in corporate settings with a passion for making a difference, an interest in leadership, and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
Benefits
Participants will receive leadership training, mentorship, and access to a strong professional network through the programme structure which includes virtual learning, an in-person boot camp, and six months of intensive mentorship.
