Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership to ensure the organization achieves its mission, strengthens institutional impact, and maintains long-term financial sustainability. The role connects the Board’s strategic vision with operational execution while driving partnerships, governance, and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Business Development
Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan
Mobilize resources through grants, partnerships, and funding opportunities
Monitor sector trends, donor priorities, and policy developments
Ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory standards
Operational and Financial Oversight
Provide overall leadership for organizational operations
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
Establish performance monitoring systems to track strategic goals
Strengthen internal systems and processes for improved performance
Leadership and Organizational Culture
Provide direction to senior management and staff
Promote accountability, collaboration, and high performance
Support leadership development and succession planning
Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
Represent the organization with government agencies, donors, and partners
Strengthen institutional visibility and external relationships
Maintain strong communication with the Board and key stakeholders
Qualification and Experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of senior leadership experience in development, nonprofit, or private sector organizations
Proven experience in strategic leadership, partnership development, and financial oversight
