CALL FOR DATA COLLECTORS AND ENUMERATORS

Accountability, Integrity and Monitoring AIM Consulting Ltd is inviting applications from qualified and motivated individuals to support an upcoming Multi Sector Needs Assessment in Zamfara State.

Bukkuyum LGA, Zamfara State

The opportunity is strictly for candidates who are residents or indigenes of Gumi or Bukkuyum Local Government Areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Selected Data Collectors and Enumerators will support the field team in conducting household and community level data collection for the Multi Sector Needs Assessment.

Enumerators will collect accurate and complete information from selected respondents using digital data collection tools. They will also be expected to maintain high standards of data quality, confidentiality, safeguarding and ethical conduct throughout the assessment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct household and community level interviews with selected respondents.

Collect accurate and complete information using approved digital data collection platforms.

Follow assessment protocols and instructions provided by the field team.

Maintain confidentiality and protect respondents information throughout the data collection exercise.

Follow safeguarding and ethical standards when engaging with individuals and communities.

Report field challenges and data collection issues to supervisors promptly.

Work effectively with other members of the assessment team to achieve assigned targets.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should be residents or indigenes of Gumi or Bukkuyum LGA in Zamfara State.

Previous experience participating in Multi Sector Needs Assessments or other humanitarian assessments is an advantage.

Experience using KoboCollect, ODK or similar digital data collection platforms is desirable.

Applicants should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in Hausa and the ability to communicate effectively with local communities is required.

Candidates should have good knowledge and familiarity with communities within the relevant Local Government Area.

Applicants must be able to work effectively in field environments and as part of a team.

Candidates should demonstrate commitment to data quality, confidentiality, safeguarding and ethical data collection.

The ability and willingness to work in a security sensitive environment is required.

Applicants must be available for the training and the entire fieldwork period.
