FairMoney is currently recruiting for the position of Field Collections Agent across Ogun, Edo, Oyo, Delta, and Kwara States. 📌 Role Summary
The Field Collections Agent will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts through structured field visits, customer engagement, and consistent follow-ups. The role focuses on driving repayments, minimizing portfolio risk, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily visits to defaulting customers (agents and merchants)
- Drive collections through calls, visits, and follow-ups
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements
- Monitor portfolio performance and reduce delinquency rates
- Track promises to pay (PTPs) and ensure conversion to actual payments
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on all recovery activities
- Verify and update customer information for improved contactability
- Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts when necessary
🎓 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1–2 years’ experience in collections or field recovery
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of delinquency management and roll rates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
