Solidarités International (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO working for over 40 years in conflict and disaster-affected regions, providing life-saving support in food security, water, sanitation, hygiene, and livelihoods. The organisation maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on fraud, corruption, and all forms of abuse and exploitation.
SI is currently recruiting a Deputy Logistics Coordinator to support the mission’s logistics operations across Nigeria and assist in strengthening supply chain systems, procurement, stock management, fleet coordination, and overall logistics compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Procurement:
- Review and monitor procurement files across all bases
- Ensure compliance with SI and donor procurement procedures
- Manage supplier relations and update price lists and databases
- Support tendering, contracts, and procurement planning
- Monitor purchasing processes and procurement tracking systems
Stock & Asset Management:
- Consolidate and analyze monthly stock inventories
- Ensure proper storage procedures and asset tracking compliance
- Support equipment reallocation and mission asset management
Fleet & Transport Management:
- Monitor vehicle rental frameworks and fuel consumption
- Review transport documentation and ensure compliance
IT & Equipment Management:
- Support IT systems, backups, and equipment maintenance
- Assist in training and technical support for staff
Human Resources & Coordination:
- Support logistics team management, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure staff welfare and proper working conditions
- Coordinate logistics meetings and capacity building
Reporting & Compliance:
- Compile logistics reports and support donor reporting
- Maintain supplier databases and logistics documentation
- Ensure compliance with SI procedures and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar humanitarian logistics role
- Strong knowledge of procurement, stock, and fleet management systems
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics tools (LINK, KOSTANGO, Excel, etc.)
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
- Fluency in English (mandatory), local language is an advantage
