Solidarités International (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO with over 40 years of experience supporting communities affected by conflict and natural disasters. The organisation focuses on food security, water, sanitation, hygiene, and livelihoods, while maintaining a strict zero-tolerance policy on fraud, corruption, and all forms of exploitation and abuse.

SI is currently recruiting Social Protection and Livelihood Team Leaders to support the implementation of livelihood and social protection programmes across Kebbi State.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise weekly field activities for livelihood programmes
  • Manage human, material, and logistical resources for field operations
  • Ensure compliance with SI procedures, standards, and timelines
  • Supervise daily workers and field teams during implementation activities
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement requests, and material tracking
  • Prepare weekly activity reports and contribute to monthly programme reports
  • Maintain strong community relations and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
  • Report operational challenges and propose solutions to the Project Manager
  • Participate in coordination meetings and cluster discussions as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agribusiness, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the INGO/humanitarian sector
  • Strong knowledge of social protection, food security, livelihoods, and market systems
  • Experience with climate-smart agriculture, income-generating activities, and rural household economies
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and experience with digital data collection tools (Kobo, etc.)
  • Fluency in English and Hausa is mandatory
  • Strong coordination, planning, and team management skills
