About the Role

RWS – TrainAI is seeking AI Data Specialists fluent in Hausa to support the improvement and accuracy of AI-generated content in the Hausa language. This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, stay-at-home parents, gig workers, or professionals looking for flexible remote work opportunities while contributing to the development of AI technologies.

As an AI Data Specialist, you will perform a variety of data-related tasks that are essential for training and refining AI models. These tasks will involve analyzing, annotating, and labeling data across multiple formats to ensure AI systems produce high-quality, accurate outputs in Hausa.

Responsibilities

• Collect, evaluate, and annotate diverse types of data.
• Perform pairwise comparisons of AI outputs.
• Complete counting tasks and other quantitative data exercises.
• Tag and label objects across content types such as audio, video, images, and other collected data.
• Support data quality assurance efforts to improve AI performance.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Hausa; advanced proficiency in English (B2–C2).
• Data and AI Capabilities (Preferred): Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Machine learning-related tasks
  • Data collection and preprocessing
  • Data evaluation and quality assurance
  • Data annotation and labeling
• Flexibility: Ability to work part-time and manage your schedule remotely.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools to complete data-related tasks.
