As part of its mission to combat poverty and promote social justice through education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods in Nigeria and The Gambia, RHHF continues to expand its team to strengthen program delivery and impact.
The organization is currently recruiting for the roles of Logistics Officer and GBV Caseworker, both based in Zamfara State.
Position: Logistics Officer
The Logistics Officer will play a vital role in ensuring efficient management of supplies, assets, and logistics operations in line with organizational and donor guidelines.
Location: Zamfara State

Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Ensure all supplies are handled and stored according to donor and RHHF policies
- Maintain accurate stock records using stock cards and proper documentation
- Monitor inventory movement and conduct routine physical stock counts
- Ensure proper documentation of waybills and transportation processes
Equipment and Assets Management
- Support proper setup and management of organizational equipment and assets
- Maintain and update asset registers, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
- Coordinate disposal of obsolete or unusable assets
- Report incidents involving damaged, lost, or stolen assets
Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular updates to the line manager on logistics activities
- Prepare and submit monthly logistics reports, including stock, assets, fuel consumption, and utilities
- Participate in logistics-related meetings and support audit processes
- Assist in asset reporting at project closure
Office and Operational Support
- Manage day-to-day communication with service providers
- Coordinate logistics for trainings, meetings, and organizational events
Requirements
- A relevant university degree or professional qualification in Logistics or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar role
- Proven knowledge of stock management, asset management, and premises management
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet use, and basic systems
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be an indigene of Zamfara State
- Experience working with NGOs is an added advantage
- Interest or experience in the humanitarian sector is desirable
