Call for Applications: Female Qualitative Data Collectors (HPV and Nutrition Evaluation)
We are inviting applications from experienced Female Qualitative Data Collectors to support an upcoming evaluation of a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine and Nutrition Campaign Project. The evaluation will be conducted across Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Kaduna, and Delta States in Nigeria.
This assignment is suited to professionals with strong qualitative research skills, contextual knowledge of their state of residence, and prior experience working on public health or development-related studies.
Position Overview
Selected data collectors will participate in qualitative fieldwork, with a strong focus on facilitating Focus Group Discussions and other qualitative data collection activities relevant to HPV vaccination and nutrition interventions. Data collectors are expected to adhere strictly to ethical research standards and project protocols.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria. Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A Master of Public Health degree will be considered an added advantage. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience in at least three qualitative research studies, with particular emphasis on conducting Focus Group Discussions. Applicants must be current residents of one of the target states and should have a strong understanding of the local geography, culture, and security context. Fluency in English and in the primary local language or languages spoken in the state of residence is required.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will support qualitative data collection activities, including the organization and facilitation of Focus Group Discussions and interviews. They will be responsible for accurate documentation of qualitative findings, adherence to ethical guidelines, and effective collaboration with the evaluation team. Familiarity with community engagement and sensitivity to gender and cultural dynamics will be essential.
