Job Opportunities at Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) – Nigeria
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been operating in Nigeria since 2015, delivering humanitarian assistance to displacement-affected communities. Through its core sectors—WASH, Shelter, Education, ICLA, Livelihoods and Food Security, Camp Management, and Protection—NRC continues to support vulnerable populations across the North-East and North Central regions. With offices in Maiduguri, Yola, and Jos, and a workforce of over 370 staff, NRC is actively recruiting for multiple roles across Nigeria.
Available Positions and Requirements
1. Education Technical Assistant – Monguno (Borno State)
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. Prior experience in education programs, especially in humanitarian or conflict settings, is an added advantage.
2. Education Technical Assistant – Yola (Adamawa State)
Applicants are expected to hold a Degree or HND in Education or related disciplines, with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience supporting educational projects or community-based programs.
3. Education Technical Assistant – Mubi (Adamawa State)
A similar qualification in Education or Social Sciences is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work with children and vulnerable groups.
4. Logistics Intern – Abuja (FCT)
This role is suitable for recent graduates or NYSC members with a Degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Basic knowledge of procurement and inventory processes is desirable.
5. Logistics Officer – Maiduguri (Borno State)
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, with at least 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian setting.
6. Driver – Maiduguri (Borno State)
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, good knowledge of local routes, and a minimum of secondary school education. Previous experience working with NGOs is an advantage.
7. Finance Technical Assistant – Maiduguri (Borno State)
A Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least 1–2 years of experience in financial management, bookkeeping, or grant support within a structured organization.
