Role Summary

The Supply Chain Manager will ensure the smooth flow of inputs and finished products across Pullus farmer and customer network. The role focuses on logistics, inventory and distribution to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and reliability. The position is central to aligning production cycles with market demand, reducing wastage and supporting scale across operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will supervise logistics officers to coordinate farm pickups, processing schedules and customer deliveries.

The role will include negotiating and managing relationships with transport providers and monitoring distribution costs per kilogram while improving delivery routes.

The manager will supervise inventory officers to maintain accurate stock records and reconcile farm collections, processing outputs and customer dispatches.

The role will ensure real time tracking of stock availability using digital systems.

The manager will work closely with the sales team to align customer orders with available stock and coordinate with extension and procurement teams to ensure timely flow of inputs to farmers.

The role will use ERP and digital dashboards to track inventory movement and key performance indicators and provide regular performance reports to management.

The manager will identify and manage supply chain risks such as delays, shortages and logistics breakdowns and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in transport and storage handovers.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.

Applicants must have between 7 and 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, preferably within agribusiness or FMCG.

must demonstrate strong experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management and financial models that support supply chain operations.

should have good knowledge of cold chain management, distribution systems and agricultural value chains.

Strong problem solving, negotiation and team leadership skills are required.
