Job Vacancy: Agronomist
Aggregate Farm is currently recruiting a qualified and experienced Agronomist to join its operations in Jos, Plateau State.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled agronomist with the ability to function beyond routine crop production activities. The role will cut across technical operations, staff training, and promotional support within the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support open-field and greenhouse vegetable production, particularly peppers (habanero, bell pepper), tomatoes, and other high-value crops.
- Prepare detailed field reports, production updates, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate and deliver trainings for farm staff and stakeholders.
- Support the adoption of smart agriculture and climate-smart practices to improve productivity and sustainability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in vegetable crop production, especially peppers and similar crops.
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to facilitate trainings and knowledge transfer.
- Knowledge of smart agriculture, climate-smart practices, precision farming tools, or modern production technologies will be an added advantage.
- Minimum qualification: HND in a relevant agricultural discipline.

Remuneration
- ₦180,000 – ₦200,000 monthly, based on years of experience.
