About the Role
Talent Lab Ltd is recruiting a qualified and experienced CROWN State Focal Person to lead the implementation and coordination of the Community Reorientation Women Network initiative under the Smiles for Mothers programme.
The successful candidate will support efforts to improve maternal health service uptake and strengthen community engagement across Katsina State. The role requires strong coordination, leadership, stakeholder engagement and programme management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and coordination of the CROWN initiative in Katsina State.
Coordinate community engagement activities designed to improve maternal health service uptake.
Work closely with relevant health sector stakeholders and community structures.
Support collaboration with State Primary Health Care Development Agency and other relevant government health institutions.
Coordinate programme activities and ensure they are implemented effectively and according to agreed plans.
Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, health workers, government representatives and programme partners.
Support project planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation.
Prepare clear and timely programme reports and other required documentation.
Support effective management of programme resources and budgets.
Identify implementation challenges and contribute to practical solutions.
Provide leadership and coordination support to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
Maintain accurate programme records and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
Perform other responsibilities related to the successful implementation of the CROWN initiative.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate or Master’s degree, preferably in Public Health or a health-related field.
Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in the health sector.
Experience working with State Primary Health Care Development Agencies is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in community engagement.
Experience in programme coordination and project management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Strong networking and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Excellent report-writing skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Knowledge of Hausa is an added advantage.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to manage budgets and programme resources effectively.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized and capable of working with diverse stakeholders to deliver community-focused maternal health interventions.
