FRAD Foundation is implementing a humanitarian project to support vulnerable children and families in Borno State, with a strong focus on Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) case management. The organization is recruiting qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
Available Positions and Locations
- WASH Officer – Gwoza
- Legal Officer (Roving) – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala, Northwest
- Child Protection Case Management Assistant – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- Protection Officer (Child Protection and GBV Programming) – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- Hygiene Officer – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- Community-Based Protection and Protection Monitoring Assistant – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- FCRM Assistant – Maiduguri
- Legal Assistant – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- CPIMS+ and GBVIMS+ Assistant (Child Protection and GBV Case Management) – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
- GBV Case Management Assistant – Bama, Gwoza, Ngala
Background
FRAD Foundation is providing case management services including psychosocial support, family tracing and referrals. The project also focuses on community awareness on child protection, gender-based violence, rights and safeguarding, as well as strengthening linkages with local authorities, health services, schools and psychosocial support actors.
In particular, the CPIMS+ and GBVIMS+ Assistant will manage digital case management systems, support frontline case management, strengthen community-based mechanisms and assist protection teams across Bama, Ngala and Gwoza LGAs.
Desirable Experience
- Previous work experience in Northeast Nigeria
- Familiarity with referral systems for health, education, psychosocial and protection services
- Knowledge of gender inclusion, protection mainstreaming and community-based child protection mechanisms
