Job Summary

The LGA Field Assistant will support the implementation of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) activities at the Local Government Area level, health facility level, and within communities. The role involves planning, coordinating, and reporting on SMC program activities while working closely with local government representatives, community stakeholders, and health workers. The role includes maintaining strong working relationships with public health officers and other partners, conducting home visits, and supporting LGA ownership of program activities. Additional tasks may be assigned by the line manager as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess a diploma-level qualification in clinical sciences, nursing, social sciences, public health, or a related discipline.
