The KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is inviting applications for the position of PPM Cluster Coordinator based in Kano State, Nigeria.
KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non profit organization dedicated to fighting tuberculosis worldwide and strengthening health systems to improve TB prevention, detection and treatment. In addition, the organization serves as a global center of expertise in tuberculosis control and works with governments and partners. Its goal is to reduce the burden of TB.
The PPM Cluster Coordinator will support the State Program Officer in coordinating data collection, analysis and reporting from engaged private health facilities involved in tuberculosis case finding and management. The role will provide technical oversight to these facilities. Moreover, the coordinator will support them in improving TB screening, case detection and documentation processes.
Key responsibilities include supporting the engagement of private health facilities for TB case finding and management across supported areas. The coordinator will work closely with linkage coordinators to ensure effective supervision of participating facilities. The role also involves collecting and analysing weekly, monthly and quarterly data from linkage coordinators. Additionally, the coordinator will submit consolidated reports to the State Program Officer.
The successful candidate will also conduct monthly validation of submitted data to ensure completeness and accuracy. In addition, the coordinator will collaborate with local government supervisors to harmonize tuberculosis related data. This will help ensure that all PPM activities are properly captured by the TBLS system. The role will further support the effective use of the MATS App for tuberculosis screening within private health facilities.
Applicants should possess an HND or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. Candidates should have one to two years of relevant experience with development agencies or foundations. Moreover, experience in tuberculosis programmes is an advantage.
The position requires strong communication and analytical skills, high integrity, attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information and work under pressure.
