Clean Technology Hub (CTH) is a pioneering hybrid organization advancing clean energy innovation, sustainability, and climate action across Africa. Through research, incubation, and advisory services, CTH drives solutions that address energy poverty, expand renewable energy access, and promote sustainable development.
CTH is currently recruiting for two key full-time positions based in Abuja:
1. Junior Associate, Circular Economy & Youth Engagement
📍 Location: Abuja, Nigeria
This role supports CTH’s climate action portfolio, focusing on circular economy initiatives and youth engagement. The selected candidate will bridge policy, education, and community-driven action to promote green growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement climate and circular economy projects
- Produce policy briefs, research, and advocacy materials
- Lead initiatives on waste-to-wealth, plastics, and sustainability awareness
- Coordinate youth and school programs, including curriculum development
- Organize workshops, trainings, and stakeholder engagements
- Support communications and digital content creation
- Contribute to fundraising, reporting, and monitoring & evaluation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong research, coordination, and communication skills
- Passion for climate advocacy, youth development, and sustainability
2. Program Assistant
Location: Abuja, Nigeria (with occasional travel)
Contract: One-year renewable
The Program Assistant will provide coordination and administrative support for a multi-year clean energy and economic development programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate programme partners and track deliverables
- Organize meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
- Prepare reports, presentations, and programme materials
- Maintain documentation and programme trackers
- Support communication with stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (postgraduate degree is an advantage)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in programme/project support
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
