About Care First Community Initiative (CFCI)
Care First Community Initiative (CFCI) is a registered Nigerian non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing human rights, social welfare, and livelihoods for vulnerable populations. CFCI operates across several sectors, including Food Security, Education, Nutrition, Health, Shelter, WASH, and Warehousing & Logistics, with a primary focus on the North-East region of Nigeria, specifically Borno and Adamawa states.
CFCI is currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented professional for the position of Warehouse Data Officer to support our humanitarian operations in Borno State.
Position: Warehouse Data Officer
• Location: Dikwa, Borno State
• Job Type: Contract
• Reports to: Warehouse Project Manager
• Experience: 2–3 years
• Qualification: OND, HND, BA/BSc
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Data Officer is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all data related to warehouse operations and inventory management. Key duties include:
• Data Management: Capturing, updating, and maintaining accurate records of warehouse stock and inventory movements across internal systems.
• Reporting: Preparing comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• Stock Reconciliation: Supporting physical stock counts and ensuring consistency between physical inventory and electronic records.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting routine data quality checks and validations to prevent discrepancies and ensure accountability.
Technical Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in data management, inventory control, or warehouse logistics.
• Software Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas) and experience with inventory databases.
• Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage large datasets under pressure.
General Requirements for All Candidates
• Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Borno State is a significant advantage.
• Context: Ability and willingness to work in field-based humanitarian contexts and challenging environments.
• Ethics: A strong commitment to upholding the organizational code of conduct, safeguarding policies, and international ethical standards.
