The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is recruiting a Partnerships Manager to support its humanitarian and development programmes in Nigeria. IRC responds to humanitarian crises by helping people affected by conflict and disasters regain health, safety, education and economic stability.

Job Responsibilities
Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including partner identification, due diligence, agreement development, implementation monitoring and close-out.
Ensure compliance with IRC policies, partnership procedures and donor requirements.
Support local partners through capacity assessments, training, mentoring and organisational development.
Coordinate with grants, finance, programme, monitoring and evaluation teams to ensure effective partnership management.
Review partner reports, monitor compliance and support audit follow-ups.
Promote accountability, collaboration and strong relationships with local partner organisations.
Qualifications and Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Development, Economics, Statistics or a related field is required. A master’s degree or equivalent is desirable.
At least 3 years of experience in grants management and proposal development, business development or programme design.
Knowledge of donor regulations, including US Government, FCDO, EU, ECHO and SIDA requirements.
Experience managing sub-grantees and partnerships is highly desirable.
Strong communication, writing, analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in challenging security environments.
