Are you passionate about Africa-focused research centred on trade, technology transfer, FDI, and intellectual property rights? Do you also possess strong analytical and writing skills, and are you interested in contributing to impactful policy work?
APRI seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic research intern to support and contribute to its Just Green Technology Transition research.
📍 Location: Remote
📅 Start Date: January 2026
⏳ Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
🗓️ Deadline: December 15, 2025
Requirements:
📚 Completed graduate studies in climate policy, technology policy, trade policy, or economics.
🌐 Strong research capabilities relating to green technology policy in Africa.
💻 Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills in English.
📌 Reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and independent.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Conduct research, writing, data analysis & editing
✔️ Support coordination of workshops, webinars & events
✔️ Contribute to online content & databases
✔️ Provide admin and project support
