Overview
The Building Blocks for Peace Foundation (BBPF) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering sustainable peace, youth empowerment, and positive social impact within communities. We are currently seeking passionate, committed, and high-potential individuals to join our team for a six-month intensive internship program. This is an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful peacebuilding initiatives, and develop critical professional skills within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Available Internship Roles
We are inviting applications for internships across the following key departments:
1. Media and Communications Intern: Support the development and execution of BBPF’s communication strategy, including content creation for social media, website management, and public relations.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Intern: Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing peacebuilding projects, ensuring program effectiveness and impact assessment.
3. Finance and Compliance Intern: Provide support in financial record-keeping, budget tracking, and ensuring adherence to organizational and donor compliance standards.
4. Programmes Intern: Contribute to the planning, implementation, and coordination of various peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and community development programs.
Eligibility Criteria
All intending applicants must meet the following essential requirements:
• Age: Must be less than 32 years old at the time of application.
• Residency: Must currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria, and be able to commute to our office for the full duration of the internship.
• Availability: Must be available to commit full-time for the entire six-month internship period.
• Academic Qualification: Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• Passion: A demonstrable passion for peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and community development is paramount.
