ABOUT NEW INCENTIVES
New Incentives is a pioneer in a growing movement that provides small incentives to caregivers whose infants receive vaccinations while increasing awareness of the health benefits of childhood immunization.
JOB SUMMARY
The States Partnership Manager Supply Side will lead and implement strategic interventions aimed at improving vaccine supply and cold-chain efficiency across Northern Nigeria.
The successful candidate will supervise 4 to 5 officer-level staff within the Stakeholder Relations and Supply Side Unit while providing technical and organisational leadership.
The role requires extensive experience in vaccine logistics in Northern Nigeria, strong DHIS2 technical expertise and established relationships across the vaccine supply and immunization sector.
ELIGIBLE LOCATIONS
Candidates should currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, an ABAE-operating state, including:
Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Niger, Yobe and Zamfara.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VACCINE SUPPLY COORDINATION
Review and analyse NI-ABAE supply-side data daily to identify trends and trigger urgent interventions.
Implement established interventions to resolve vaccine supply-side challenges.
Assess the case management of Supply-Side Officers.
Evaluate and improve existing interventions for preventing and resolving vaccine stockouts.
Build relationships that support organisational and programme objectives.
Engage partners at state, LGA and national levels.
Cultivate national-level champions and supporters in vaccine supply.
Represent the organisation at SERICC and LERICC meetings for priority states and LGAs.
Provide daily and weekly internal and external updates on existing and potential stockouts.
Coordinate with the Program Manager and relevant staff on DHIS2 data exploration.
MANAGEMENT
Provide technical supervision and guidance to the Stakeholder Relations and Supply-Side Unit.
Support recruitment, training, staff evaluation, development and internal communication.
Generate weekly work plans for direct reports.
Support reportees with effective expense management and issue resolution.
Undertake other administrative, training and development responsibilities appropriate to the role.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND REPRESENTATION
Manage vaccine-supply stakeholder relationships and knowledge.
Maintain cost-effective stakeholder engagement.
Monitor changes in the vaccine-supply stakeholder landscape at state and national levels.
Align organisational objectives with government priorities and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Represent New Incentives in relevant stakeholder engagements.
INTERNAL UNIT MANAGEMENT
Serve as a key representative and leader of the Stakeholder Relations Unit.
Plan and implement internal meetings, trainings and events.
Maintain effective relationships across NI-ABAE units and departments.
Coordinate with other units to resolve operational issues.
Represent the Stakeholder Relations Unit during internal trainings and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
MSc or PhD in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
At least 10 years of experience working on immunization programmes.
At least 10 years of experience working for a health-focused non-profit organisation or a national, state or public health ministry, department or agency.
Expert-level experience with the DHIS2 platform, particularly Nigeria’s DHIS2 interface.
Extensive experience working in Northern Nigeria.
Experience in vaccine logistics and supply-chain management is highly relevant.
Currently residing in an ABAE-operating state or willing to relocate to one.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building experience.

Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity when engaging partners and stakeholders.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in English, including conversation, reading and writing, is required.
Knowledge of Hausa, particularly conversation and reading, is an advantage.
